IslePilot is operated by Yannik Folgmann, Germany, reachable at claimz51@gmail.com ("we", "us"). These terms cover the IslePilot dashboard, the public server pages we host for you, the game server plugin, the launcher and every related service we provide.
By creating an account or using any part of the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
IslePilot gives operators of The Isle game servers a dashboard, a plugin and hosted web pages to manage their community. We do not run your game server, we do not host The Isle, and we are not affiliated with Afterthought LLC or Valve.
Features marked as testing are experimental. They can change, break or disappear without notice and are excluded from any availability expectation.
You sign in with Discord. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for the people you invite into your server team. Keep your bot tokens, API keys and server keys secret. Tell us immediately if you believe a key has leaked.
You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and at least 16 years old.
The free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are membership tiers on Patreon. We never charge you directly.Your payment contract is with Patreon, Patreon is the seller and merchant of record for it, and Patreon's own terms, billing rules and tax handling apply to that transaction.
When your Patreon membership is active, Patreon grants you a role in our Discord, and that role unlocks the matching plan in IslePilot. If the role is removed for any reason, including a failed payment, a cancellation or a change on Patreon's side, the plan drops back accordingly.
We do not issue refunds for memberships, and we do not process payments at all. Cancel on Patreon whenever you want. Your membership then runs to the end of the period you already paid for and is not renewed. Anything about billing, chargebacks or a refund of a Patreon charge has to go through Patreon under their policy.
Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract. Where such rights exist for a Patreon membership, they are directed at Patreon as the seller.
We may change prices, plans and what each plan includes. Changes apply from your next membership period. If a change is significant and you do not accept it, your remedy is to cancel.
Everything you put into IslePilot stays yours. You give us the permission we need to store it, process it and show it to the people you have given access to, for as long as you use the service.
You decide what happens on your server pages, so you are responsible for the content you publish there and for how you treat the players in your community. Where we process personal data of your players on your behalf, you are the controller and we act on your instructions. Our privacy notice explains what we store and for how long.
You warrant that you have the right to upload what you upload, including logos, images and text.
We do our best to keep the service up, but we do not promise any uptime figure. Maintenance, updates to The Isle, outages at Discord, Steam or Patreon, and plain hardware failure can interrupt it. The service is provided as it is, without any warranty that it fits a particular purpose or works without errors.
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and wherever mandatory law makes us liable. For ordinary negligence we are liable only for breaching an obligation that is essential to this contract, and then only up to the damage typically foreseeable at the time we made it.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Since paid plans run through Patreon, that means the membership amounts credited to us for your account in that period. We are not liable for lost profit, lost player base, lost game data, or damage caused by a third party service we depend on.
You can stop using the service at any time and delete your servers from the dashboard. We can suspend or terminate access if you break these terms, if your use endangers the service or other customers, or if we are legally required to. Where it is reasonable, we warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.
Access to the service requires an active paid membership. If you have no active membership, or your membership lapses, expires or is cancelled, we may at any time suspend or block your access, disable your servers and their public pages, and delete the data held for them. We are not obliged to keep data for accounts without an active membership.
Where it is reasonable we tell you beforehand and give you a chance to export your administrative data, meaning your server settings and configuration. Export what you want to keep before your membership ends.
After termination we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, unless we have to keep it longer by law.
We may update these terms. We announce material changes in our Discord and update the date at the top. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept it.
These terms are governed by German law, excluding its conflict of law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
If you are a consumer, this choice never takes away the protection of mandatory rules of the country you habitually live in, and you may also bring a claim in your own country's courts.
If you use the service as a business, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
If any clause here turns out to be invalid, the rest stays in force.
